La Pichona Lodge
At only 45 minutes from SDE airport and in the heart of the rural area where everyday hunting takes place.
It’s completely surrounded by sawn grain fields and at a short distance of the groves where doves nest.
The lodge counts on spacious rooms to host 16 people, all of them with heating, air-conditioning and private bathrooms. The inviting social area overlooking the gallery and garden pond is perfect to relax after a long hunting day and savor our gourmet dishes for dinner.
At sunset, either the modern country gallery or the close grove of carob trees, are unique to share the anecdotes of the day while tasting a glass of Malbec wine by a camp fire…

The taste of the best Argentinian beef and typical dishes are combined with the unrivalled color and aroma of our superb Malbec and Cabernet wines at nightfall.
To cover our guests’ needs, we count on free access to internet and offer laundry service, gun cleaning and relaxing massage sessions upon request at both lodges.
Comfort and quality are guaranteed at every step by the impeccable and personalized service given by the company owners, Flavia and Facundo, who meet the guests at SDE airport on arrival day and are in direct contact until the moment of departure.
In addition to the above mentioned, we can organize day-return or short bilingual tours, either for non-hunters joining in, or even for hunters as an extension once they’ve completed their wing shooting itinerary. Argentina offers endless amazing views, unique worldwide!!
A typical hunting day
A day at the lodge starts early, at about 7:00AM. After a substantial American breakfast, a professional hunt guide drives the party to the shooting fields located within a 30 minutes’ area, being duck the only species hunted at a further distance. We count on comfortable air-conditioned 19 seat passenger vans to cover all the drives.
Once at the hunting spot, an experienced bird boy is assigned to each hunter, and shooting takes place until noon, when it’s time to enjoy our traditional Argentinian “asado” (outdoor BBQ) in the shady area surrounding the lodge.
After a short time for a relaxing “siesta”, shooting continues till the sunset.
A tasty snack and some of the favorite local drinks on return after the long hunting day to share its anecdotes and experiences.
To conclude the day, the most delicious gourmet specialties prepared by our chef in the late evening, including the best regional dishes with dove, partridge or duck… All of them served with the finest selection of Argentinian red wines.
